10th Annual Slovak Compliance Days 2025 conference
Slovak Compliance Days 2025 celebrated its 10th anniversary!
The 10th anniversary of the Slovak Compliance Days conference took place on 12-13 May 2025 at the Sheraton Bratislava Hotel. Entitled “Compliance and Innovation in the EU – the Path to Stability and Transformation”, the conference addressed the current challenges facing companies in the current rapidly changing regulatory and technological environment.
This event has traditionally become a meeting place for experts in the fields of compliance, law, internal audit, risk management, as well as representatives of public administration, academic sector and technology leaders. The conference was attended by more than 140 participants and 45 speakers.
This year was particularly special – it reflected the ten-year history of this biggest conference dedicated to the Slovak compliance community and at the same time focused on the future shaped by innovation, digitalization and a new generation of leaders.
Compliance and innovation – two sides of the same coin
The main theme of the conference was finding a balance between compliance and innovation. In a series of lectures and panel discussions, experts addressed the question of how compliance can not only reflect regulatory requirements, but also be a proactive partner in the transformation of the business environment.
Topics that move the EU and Slovakia
The conference program offered a diverse range of topics, including:
- the impact of artificial intelligence on ethics and compliance processes,
- information security and data protection in the digital age,
- new EU legislation, including upcoming regulations and directives,
- generation Z and their perspective on corporate values, integrity and the work environment,
- the role of future leaders in setting a compliance culture.
The expert lectures were complemented by interactive discussions that created space for sharing practical experience, exchanging views and building contacts between participants from different sectors.
Strong partnerships, strong community
The conference also included representatives from regulators, technology companies and corporate partners, underscoring the importance of collaboration between the public and private sectors. The event demonstrated that compliance is not an obstacle to innovation, but rather a responsible facilitator.
Evening program on the boat
The program also included an exceptional musical program, which took place on a boat moored on the Danube. The informal meeting brought together more than 80 conference participants, who discussed professional and personal topics in a pleasant atmosphere, made new contacts, and danced. This evening became a strong symbol of togetherness and open dialogue.
Slovak Compliance Days 2025 confirmed its status as a key and unique professional event in the field of compliance in Slovakia.
Eleven years of building the professional platform Slovak Compliance Circle have already brought hundreds of lectures, hundreds of inspiring guests, and thousands of ideas that shape a more ethical and resilient business environment in Slovakia.
